5.JARGONS OF STOCK MARKET

John: Hi Sam how are you?
Sam: I'm good john..By the way, from couple of week’s markets is Bearish. Do you think this continuous in upcoming days?
John: I guess from next week market might again bullish, rally may start...

By reading above phrases our minds are filled with lots of question marks, don’t worry now we are going to discuss some of the basic jargon which we hear frequently in regard with stock markets...

BULL

BULL: The investors or speculators (Traders) buys shares by expecting that the market value of the share of the company may increase,in that sense we say investors are very bullish.

BULL MARKET: Suppose, a company is performing very well,then automatically Traders or Investors try to buy the company's shares.At that instant Market will  rise and buyers are more than the sellers,in that scenario we say BULL MARKET.
BEAR
 BEAR:It is the opposite to Bull,if Investors or Traders sell their stocks by expecting that they will get a
             loss if they holds the share anymore...Then we say Bear.


 BEAR MARKET: Price of the shares falling down for long period then the market is called Bear Market.


 CORRECTION: If market rise rapidly for few days then, Traders will sell their shares to get profit.At
                              that time small fall down in market takes place.Then we say Correction have taken
                              place....

 CLOSING PRICE: The last trading price of the share at the end of the day...If share price is 25 at the end
                                 of the day then closing price is 25.


 BLUE CHIPS: Ordinary Shares of the company listed but  companies having good track record in giving
                           dividend and earns good profit.Such Shares are called BLUE CHIPS shares.


 INSIDE TRADING: If buying or selling of shares  illegally then we say Inside Trading have taken place.


These are some of the basic Jargon used by marketers.Even we learn more such words in the further posts..
